LINTING LAKE

Lake Linting which is located in Sibungabunga Hilir Village, Sinembah Tanjung Muda Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra is unique to old trees with roots spreading to the bottom of Lake Linting. Located on the lip of the lake, the old trees on the edge of the lake also become conditioning. For the route you have to pass the Amplas terminal intersection (Patumbak sub-district) then enter Talun Kenas Village then proceed to Siguci Village and Kuta Village Jurung then you will arrive at Sibunga-bunga Hilir village. The distance of Lake Linting from Medan City is around 70 kilometers, and can be taken about 2.5 hours drive from Medan past Tanjung Morawa and into the Three Juhur Village, but slightly past the damaged road access. Or passing Delitua and Patumbak, Deli Serdang, which is a little more than 3 hours away, but with road access that is paved and not perforated. Danau Linting yang terletak di Desa Sibungabunga Hilir, Kecamatan Sinembah Tanjung Muda, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara memiliki keunikan pohon-pohon tua dengan akar yang menyebar ke dasar Danau Linting. Terletak di bibir danau, pohon-pohon tua di tepi danau juga menjadi pengkondisian. Daunnya juga rimbun, batang dan ranting pohon juga digunakan oleh manajer untuk memasang ayunan dengan tali yang kuat.Tidak hanya anak-anak, orang dewasa juga menggunakan ayunan. Ketika berayun, wisatawan akan merasakan sensasi yang berbeda, karena kaki dapat menyentuh air hangat yang dimiliki Danau Linting. Uniknya lagi danau ini berasal dari dua sumber mata air, yaitu udara panas dari aliran belerang dan air tawar, sehingga air danau danau terasa hangat. Untuk kedalamannya, danau ini harus diwaspadai. Sebab, tidak ada yang berhasil mengukur danau misterius itu.
Bahkan, konon warna hijau toska dari danau tersebut dikarenakan kedalamannya.
Ada pembatas area dangkal dan area dibedakan dengan timbunan pasir di pinggir kolam. Di area pasir tersebutlah, wisatawan dapat mandi dan bermain. Sedangkan area yang hijau, sangat diwanti bagi wisatawan yang tidak terlalu mahir berenang.
Pernah ada seorang peneliti asing mengukur kedalaman danau dengan cara manual. Katanya peneliti tersebut menghabiskan tiga gulung benang sepanjang 100 meter, lebih dari dari 300 meter benang sudah masuk mencari dasar danau namun juga belum kunjung menyentuh dasar danau. Masyarakat sekitar menduga, Danau Linting berbentuk seperti sumur yang sangat dalam. Untuk menikmati keindahan serta kesegaran danau cukup membayar uang retribusi sebesar Rp 5 ribu per orang. Untuk menuju ke lokasi tersebut wisatawan dapat menggunakan kendaraan roda dua maupun roda empat, namun perlu berhati-hati karena jalan menuju ke Danau tersebut belum benar-benar mulus.
Untuk rute Anda harus melewati Simpang terminal Amplas (Kecamatan Patumbak) kemudian masuk Desa Talun Kenas dilanjutkan ke Desa Siguci dan Desa Kuta Jurung selanjutnya Anda akan sampai di desa Sibunga-bunga Hilir. Jarak Danau Linting dari Kota Medan sekitar 70 kilometer, dan dapat ditempuh sekitar 2,5 jam perjalanan dari Medan melewati Tanjung Morawa dan masuk ke Desa Tiga Juhur, namun sedikit melewati akses jalan rusak. Atau melewati Delitua dan Patumbak, Deli Serdang yang sedikit lebih jauh hampir 3 jam lebih, namun dengan akses jalan yang diaspal dan tidak berlubang.
Sepanjang jalan menuju Danau Linting, pemandangan sejuknya perkebunan kelapa sawit, karet dan kelapa terhampar di kiri dan kanan jalan. Di sekitar danau, banyak orang lokal menjual makanan ringan dan minuman ringan dengan harga terjangkau. Mereka juga dengan ramah menawarkan tikar bagi pengunjung untuk disewa dengan harga Rp10.000 hingga Rp20.000 tergantung ukuran. Dan pondok liburan sebesar Rp. 25 ribu.
